With the Oscars just around the corner, audiences are already taking to social media to cast their votes for the award winners. As anticipation mounts for one of the entertainment industry’s most important nights, RadiumOne, a leader in programmatic advertising, created an infographic that uses audiences’ social sharing behavior to predict the outcome of the night’s festivities, posing the question: If it were up to social media alone, who would take home the Oscar?

“And the Oscar Goes to…” Highlights from RadiumOne’s infographic include:

  • Best Picture: “Silver Linings Playbook.”
  • Best Actor: Hugh Jackman, “Les Miserables.”
  • Best Actress: Jennifer Lawrence, “Silver Linings Playbook.”

And for movies that weren’t nominated for an Oscar, but won based on social shares alone:

  • “The Dark Knight Rises” earned the most shares with 55%, yet came in second for biggest money maker on opening weekend.
  • “Edward Cullen” (Robert Pattinson) of the “Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2″ would come out on top as Best Actor with 38 million likes on Facebook.
  • “Katniss Everdeen” (Lawrence) of “The Hunger Games” would win for Best Actress with 8.5 million likes on Facebook, followed by “Ted” with 7.6 million likes.
  • “Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2″ would be the winner for Best Picture, with 1,286, 488 million followers (10X more followers than any other motion picture.)

Overall, Radium One reports, there’s been a shift in social sharing via mobile devices. For the 2012 Grammys, 43% social shares took place on a desktop while 57% took place via mobile. In 2013, 12% social shares took place on a desktop while 88% took place over mobile.
